| Power Commander 3 - 929RR Bought this and installed before I had my full exhaust on. With just a slip on, flapper mod, and pc3 you could really tell a difference, smoothed out entire rpm range, and made the bike alot more predictable. Plus its cool to be able to tweek your fuel delivery.
After I put on the full pipe, the pc3 obviously is a must, and it has done well, loaded up the map, took it for a ride, and everything ran perfect.
Rate it 10 out of 10, Easy to install, and worth the money. |

| Re: Power Commander 3 - 929RR I bought mine off e-bay and it's been excellent. You can even get a 954 power commander, since it's identical to the 929's, it just has different mapping. One thing to make note, for you that haven't tried it. Enable the accelerator pump, then set it up. I have mine set up for 90% sensitivity, 20% more fuel, for 15 revolutions, which is what Dynojet suggested for streebikes....and it's great. It smoothed out bottom end, especially. It squirts in extra fuel, when you first demand acceleration from the bike, so it makes it accelerate better when you first hit the throttle. |

| Re: Power Commander 3 - 929RR What you are shooting for is optimum fuel/air mixture. Optimum is said to be right around 14 parts air to 1 part finely atomized fuel. It must be finely atomized, or your engine will act lean, even if it is the right amount of fuel but the drops are too big to atomize correctly. Let's just say that your fuel injectors are taking care of that, for arguments sake--if that european map just so happens to give you the right mapping to give you 14:1 mixture at all RPM, then yes, you will gain efficiency, if not, you will lose. |

| Re: Power Commander 3 - 929RR To add to my last statement, if you are really wanting to make sure that your enigine is tuned correctly, with the right map, bring it to a dyno shop, and have a custom map made for it. |
