Motrax LED turn indicators

I was disapointed in the standard bulb type Motrax "arrow style" turn indicators. The wires coming out of the bolt-stem were not fastened in there so they would just pull the solder off the socket then ... no light.

Well I bought a new pair of Motrax LED "arrow style" indicators and installed them today. The wires on these are solid good construction so it doesn't look like the wires will pull loose from the socket inside the indicator. They make them in "short stalk or long stalk". They are bright as all get out Very bright. Clear lense looks better than amber lenses. The LED's themselves are amber/yellow only when they light up. No extra electronics are needed as these have thier own built in, so they blink at a normal rate.

Price paid $28. pair.

Who's got them.... CycleGear

Re: Motrax LED turn indicators

Hmm....I actually work at a Cyclegear so I'm pretty familiar with the Motrax turn signals...but I can't for the life of me remember seeing a set that is already load-balanced internally...that's why we carry the Motrax flasher relays too.

Now, it's one thing if you've got say LEDs on the front and regular bulbs in the back, or vice versa. The signals will flash a little faster than normal but should still be fine. But if you've got all LEDs, that's normally when you need the relay, because without it the signals flash so damn quick that it looks like hardly anything more than a flicker.
