| Pirelli Diablo Corsa 3's Product: Pirelli Diablo Corsa 3's, 120 Front, 190 Rear
Purchased these after my pilot pro's got worn down. Got them off ebay for a real cheap price. After having them mounted and balanced by my local shop, I hopped on my bike and took it home, with it being about 57 degrees out, it was a tad cold. Low and behold, the tires stuck great going around corners, the feel for the road is excellent. Have about 2000 miles on them now, and they still are performing amazing. I will probably continue to purchase these.
Rating 10 out of 10, for great wear, great road feel, and extremely sticky around corners. |

| Re: Pirelli Diablo Corsa 3's Are they a softer compound? I have the 2's and the seemed to wear pretty fast. I tend to ride a little aggressive, but I only got about 1450 before mine looked "tracked".

| Re: Pirelli Diablo Corsa 3's The corsa 3's have the dual compound rear tire. Basically the sides are made of a softer material then the middle. I have 2000 on them, and they don't look very weared. I am very rough on tires, and Live in MI, which has nothing but crappy roads where I live. So I think you should get alot more then 1450 from them. |

| Re: Pirelli Diablo Corsa 3's Awsome! Mine are beyonde dead again, so I think I will give these a try. I live in the Cali desert, so you can imagine what my roads are like as well. The dual compound sounds like it may be just what I need on that rear tire!
Thanks for the info!

| Re: Pirelli Diablo Corsa 3's you have only 2000 miles on teh tires and already giving them a 10 on tread wear?? lol
give them a grade AFTER you go through the set to see how many miles you get from them.
i'm averaging 7500 miles per set on the powers. I'm now on the 3rd set. ( rear is 2ct). we'll see how she goes. |

Or is it due to bad road conditions? I would have thought UK = cold = longer tyre life maybe? |

| Re: Pirelli Diablo Corsa 3's We don't ride too hard here but we do give it a good go and the road conditions are good but very hard wearing on our tyres, and because it is colder here you get "cold-shearing" when the tyre has reached its optimum temperature and then cools down too quickly it causes the tyre compund to change and it wears quicker, hence one of the reasons for tyre warmers at race tracks. |

| Re: Pirelli Diablo Corsa 3's I just mounted my Corsa 3s today, but I didn't go riding....I think I might have done something wrong putting my rear wheel back on because it doesn't like to spin freely like it did before....maybe the chain is too tight? Hmm....I'll adjust things properly tomorrow, and put some miles on them. |

Lasted for about 4000 miles, and the grip was very good for an all-round tyre - even in wet - highly recommended. |

I have had two sets of Bridgestones that came from factory and they never seemed to stick as good as I would have liked them to. The upside is that I got a lot of miles out of them, which is a good thing |

| Re: Pirelli Diablo Corsa 3's My two-stroke has pirelli slicks on it, in the event I have to borrow from my race stock, I usually take a Pirelli slick front and cut a tread pattern in it and run a Diablo Corsa 3 on the rear. There have been occasions that have found me with two cut slicks on my street bike. I know not the best idea in the world, but back to the topic. In my opinion the Pirelli is the superior tire, although my 08 1000 has a set of cut Dunlop slicks on it at the present. |

| Re: Pirelli Diablo Corsa 3's I have had the front Corsa III for about 5700 miles. The rear is a little newer but still looking great. I ride year round here in the Azores. The asphalt has a crushed volcanic rock mix in it. This seems to eat rubber. I also ride in the rain. I have not noticed any difference in performance at slower speeds. I just ordered another front. It should be here any day. |

Have also changed from 190/50 to a 190/55 for a quicker turn in. I'll let let you know what i make of them after they are well and truly scrubbed in |

| Re: Pirelli Diablo Corsa 3's Got them in a few days ago. Went with 190/55 - 120/70. was going to spend the evening mounting them then i noticed my right fork seal leaking.... Extreme disappointment. I believe a minor recent accident had a major factor in that, that should of been caught and repaired. Wish i had the money to upgrade internals while I'm in there, I'm sure i would get so much more out of my fresh set of DC3's. Excuse me while i go rob a bank or 2.. I swear this sport worst then crack, but way more fun, on both sides of the fence. For what its worth, they Look AWESOME.. on my steps..

| Re: Pirelli Diablo Corsa 3's Wow, realized I posted in this thread more than half a year ago and haven't said anything about the tire experience.
I love these tires.
I don't have a lot of miles on them (only roughly 1500), and lately I've been putting a lot of straight-line miles on them (not exactly great with a 190/55, I know) but the tire's still look almost new in terms of wear, and the grip is great. Gone railing the twisties on these tires and I LOVE the way they feel. Had a bad super-pucker moment on Salmon Falls Road a couple months back where I was actually only half on the asphalt and my shoulder actually rubbed against the cliff wall, and yet the tires didn't even feel like anything out of the ordinary was going on. I have more than one bike so I don't exactly ride this one as much as most other people, but for a set of tires that I've had now for more than half a year and 1500 miles, these tires are working out amazingly well.
Gotta say, everyone likes to talk about how great the Michelin Pilot Power 2CT's are, but I didn't really like them all that much. I think the big thing that made me go with the Pirelli's though was that I've always had pretty good experiences with the Diablo tire line, and of course I saw the tire. Whereas on the 2CT tires the soft compound is right on the edge and is only about one finger-width, on the Corsa 3's the softer compound is about 4 finger-widths, which to me means a lot more grip when leaned over, and so far they seem to be proving this to be true. |

| Re: Pirelli Diablo Corsa 3's I have had dunlops, michelin pp, metzlers and bridgestones. the corsa III they dont cup, they are worth every penny. they wear really well and inspire confidence when in the turns. they are a little more but they last much longer than michelins and the bridgestones. 11 k and changing my first tire the corsa front to a corsa three today. Corsa threes need to be warmed up at temps of 50 degrees and below. rating Some onewrote earlier for 30 dollars more you get 50 percent more wear. and hey wear evenly. no cupping.
