| going from 160/60/17 to 170/60/17 on f3 Hi. I'm planning to go a size bigger on my 95 f3. the stock size is 160/60/17 on the back, but I want to try on a 170/60/17. I know that it'll fit the rim, but the question is will there be any change in performance and handling? If so, what will it be? I do a lot of hard twisty rides around town with the 160 and it worked great, but will the 170 change any of that? Any help will be greatly appreciated. | |

| Re: going from 160/60/17 to 170/60/17 on f3 Yes it will but not much the wider tire will not turn in as well a lot of people will go from a 190 to a 180 rear tire on a 954 RR to make the bike turn in faster you would be doing the opposite of that. But it would look good.
