| Bar ends on CBR1000 Anyone know if they will help at keeping some vibrations down? My right hand gets numb after riding for an hour or so. If they help, any suggestions?? |

| Re: Bar ends on CBR1000 My hands did the same. Problem was I couldn't take my right hand off the bar or I would slow down. I installed the throttlemiser throttle lock (cruise control). I purchased the heavier ones and they made a noticeable difference with vibration. Very high quality stuff also. Throttlemeister Motorcycle Cruise Control |

| Re: Bar ends on CBR1000 I thought about that myself, but couldn't see spending $150 for that. But you are thinking that the heaviness part actually helped with the vibrations... |

| Re: Bar ends on CBR1000 Yes, for sure the extra weight helps. I was just going to put on heavier bar ends; I'm really happy with T-miser. After receiving them you wonder how they could have made such nice stuff for the price. |

| Re: Bar ends on CBR1000 The 929 has metal inserts in the bars that dampen vibration dosent the 1000 come with them? If not the ones from the 929 should install in the 1000 no problem since the bar diameter is the same I would think. Go to the dealer and buy the parts for each bar. Good part is since the vibration damper is IN the bar you can use whatever bar end you like. If you dont want to spend the money on that go to the sporting good store and get some small lead shot and fill the bars with that. |

I spoke to a guy from dscbikeshop.com they did have them on their site at the time but they got them for me for a gresat price and the color i wanted. so give them a try if you are still looking for some. They also told me to stop leaning my upper body on the bars so much and clinch the tank with my thighs and it does help on long rides to the Beach. LAter Bro |

| Re: Bar ends on CBR1000 i will try to find out, but not all states are illegal. What state are you from? At one time dscbikeshop's website had some links to state laws and new laws that came up. I will see if they still have it and if i find it i will forward to you. The link was usfull info. Later |

I had a similar right hand numbing problem when i traveled long distances on the highway, and the motivation 300g bar ends solved it. |
