03 CBR 954RR Frame sliders

Just got my 03 CBR954 the other day and i still have time to make a few purchases before its riding season.

I would really like to get a decent set of frame and swing-arm sliders.

Can anyone suggest a decent product? i would like either black or chrome, and something thats very easy to install and looks good.

If anyone has had a great experience with a specfic brand, any input would be great.

Thanks in advance.

I'v had both Devo, black polyeurethane and chrome alloy, and sad to say tested both. I would go with the polyeurethane on the frame as the metal ones bent the engine bolt and dug into the frame a bit at the base when they bent back from having to much grip on the road. The chrome looks better but the poly did'nt do any other damage except to themselves.
The swingarm bobblns did a great job as well. I have the chrome alloy on there and have no problems as thery're short and don't bend and I reckon here they stand up a lot better than poly.
They're a breeze to fit as well, no cutting of panels and they have instructions. If I can do it, anyone can.

I have Intuitives on my 929...my friend has 'em on her 954. Great product. I think they make the swing arm spools, too. Get the delrin plastic...not metal. They work better. The plastic slides, the metal grabs too much. I have black ones.

Re: 03 CBR 954RR Frame sliders

I had the carbon fiber ones with the aluminum cap that look really good. However, I got cut off by a van and went down about 15 mph. The slider broke right off and rashed up my fairing real bad.

However, when I went down by my own stupidity at about 55, my plain black delrin polyurethane sliders held up real well.

I think the metal ones grab and break and the poly ones grind down before the plastics get messed up. Just my two cents.

Late to the party here...

I can't speak for the metal ones, but when I laid down my 954 the Delrin ones I got from D2moto did the job. They ground down about an inch or so but protected my plastics and tank. The key is that they *slide*.
