Aftermarket signals.

I just installed a fender eliminator kit by competition werkes on my 929 and i'm trying to install aftermarket rear signals. Standard bulbs not LED. Problem is that i blew 2 fuses and now the fronts are blinking really fast and i got nothing in the back. It seams like a simple system. 2 wires on the OEM connector and 2 wires on the new signals. Any ideas berfore i start troubleshooting!
Thanks.

Re: Aftermarket signals.

Make sure each of the 2 wires are installed to the correct wires. Power to power and ground to ground. Those aftermarket signals may not have an isolated ground. If that's not it, maybe the wires got pinched somewhere. The front signals should sort themselves out once the rears are working and the system has the proper load on the flasher.

Re: Aftermarket signals.

Thanks for the reply. Everything was connected correctly so I investigated a little further and found that the bulb was broken, not burned out, but broken. So it looks like i grabbed a bum set from the store. Thanks again.
