| My dyno graphs before & after Dynojet fitment This is FAO bladeracer really, but others might be interested to see the before and after lines too
The bike went in to the centre already fitted with a BMC air filter and Leo Vince SBK can (with the baffle in).
Initial figure was 118bhp.
Final figure was 121bhp.
The 3bhp really isn't noticable, however the real benefit is how much smoother the fuelling now is. As I have said before, I had a problem when rolling off/on the throttle, the bike would sort of jerk a couple of times before taking off again. Now there is no such problem.
Sorry for the poor quality pics, they are the best I could do!
The Red line is before the Blue line is after. http://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n...W/CIMG3782.jpg http://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n...W/CIMG3784.jpg |

Well worth the cost I would think.

| Re: My dyno graphs before & after Dynojet fitment Yeah I think so - I'm no expert in terms of jetting and fuelling, but you don't need to be to notice how smoothly it runs now.
It cost me £250 for the kit and set-up, more than 10% of what I paid for the bike! But still worth it I think. |

There are people that pay tens of thousands for Ducatis that they hate riding so they sell them a few years later with bugger all mileage. Adding up the resale loss, interest, insurance, rego and such they must be spending $100 for each kilometer they ride - and a lot of that riding would've been to and from the shop for warranty work :-)

| Re: My dyno graphs before & after Dynojet fitment lol reminds me of this: http://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n...W/ducati-1.jpg
I know someone that did just that years ago, bought a new 851 (or 888, not sure), hated the thing and sold it on 6 months later.
I also saw an R1 for sale just before Xmas - bought new for ~£9000, 1800 miles in 6 months, then up for sale for £6000 they lost more in 6 months than I paid for my bike in total! |
