slipper clutch

i installed a HINSON slipper clutch in my 05 1000rr and it has a funny feel to it while working the clutch lever. under acceleration it doesn't slip under power and it slips like it is suppose to under de-acceleration. but when you let the clutch out during downs shifts i feel like it has a delayed feedback in the lever itself. i had bleeded the air out of the line at the clip on. is this a normal thing? thanks in advance for the help?

Re: slipper clutch

the delayed action is when i let the clutch out it is followed up by the clutch discs coming back together

Re: slipper clutch

There is time between when you let the lever go back to neutral position and the clutch begins to engage??

Re: slipper clutch

this only takes place during downsifts. during a group of downsifts, say like 5th to 1st. as you are letting out the clutch lever in between the downsifts is where this funny feeling is happening
