2007 CBR1000RR, Akrapovic S.O / Power Commander

Hey Guys,

I recently put 1000 km on my bike, and did my first service at honda. Therefore it was time to install, Proton Front Flush Mount Signals, Competition Works Rear Undertail, Akrapovic Slip-on and Power Commander.

The Akrapovic Exhaust was a very easy install, came with instructions that would require someone to be mechanically inclined to follow. The Exhaust Sounds absolutely amazing, by far the best sounding exhaust, very deep groan at idle and a clean, not raspy at all, sound during acceleration. On Downshifts the exhaust becomes very deep. The sound level is not very high and is very tolerable. I can still speak to people next to me. The power was increased in the lower and mid range. Much smoother throttle response.

The power commander requires a little more skill because in order to make for a really clean install you have to take your time and you need a second person to help you. All the clips installed perfect, and the tuning end was extremely easy, just loaded the Map-Stock or A/F Air Filter and Akrapovic Exhaust Slip-On and it installed in seconds, shut the bike off, turned it on and she ran like a beaut. Power band is very very smooth and i found more torque on the top end.

Both products i would highly recommend.

I will post some pics up this weekend.

Carmen

nice. looks good, just took all my fender stuff off as well, looking at yours i wish i would of left on the 2 exhaust covers as well. in the dark video of the new blinkers and license plate mount, cant really see the tag mount, just the 3 led's. took me like 3 hours and still didnt get the front ones on, tho i was looking into relays 1st. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WEREH0XDipo

Cool man, thats a really nice integrated tail. i was thinking about it but i like the way mine has signals on each side, the reason is because i live in Canada and half the people that drive here are retarded so i dont want to confuse people when i signal lol. I wanted to get the same integrated tail but chose not to for safety reasons lol.

The two side exhaust covers are from the undertail kit that i bought, they arent stock. Im going to paint them black so they dont stand out the way they do now.
