| Re: Stainless brake lines I will write a review and let you know how the set turns out. From the feedback the company has it looks like the product is decent quality. I suppose I'll find out it's only $82.80 after I minus the 8% ebay buy it now cash back rebate thingy with MSN. |

| Re: Stainless brake lines id get all 4 lines, might as well for 10 bux more. braided lines help keep the fluid clean. heck, my cage has braided lines including the clutch. id go as far as to say one of the best things i did for my 929rr but with a cable clutch so no need for 4. check with site sponsors if ebay isnt working out for you. galfer and goodridge are also good. |

| Re: Stainless brake lines Joker (cbr400rr) hooked up my 954 probably 5-6 years ago from a local brake line place but I forgot what shop it was and that set has been great since day 1 with zero problems. Thats what has me leaning towards the ebay guys I know cutting the lines and getting the fittings correct isnt very hard and definitely not worth paying more than double just for all the big manufacturers advertising and overhead expenses. |

| Re: Stainless brake lines Anyone in San Diego know of a good place that sells custom ordered brake lines? Figure I already have the measurements might as well see if i can support a local US company. |

| Re: Stainless brake lines Double checked my measurements just to be sure. Do these look about right for an RC51?
Line 1 Rear
24"
20 degree fittings from the master
20 degree fittings to the caliper
zero degree orientation
Line 2 Front Right
25"
45 degree fittings from the master
20 degree fittings to the caliper
90 degree orientation
Line 3 Front Left
26"
45 degree fittings from the master
20 degree fittings to the caliper
90 degree orientation
Decided to forget about the clutch line.

| Re: Stainless brake lines Triple checked my measurements and the fittings even sent them pics of my masters and calipers to make sure they would position them correct. I'll let you know when I get them how they look and then how they fit and then how they feel installed. Black banjos, copper washers, and a silver double banjo with clear lines and black fittings is what I ordered. |

| Re: Stainless brake lines Got them today, so far so good, they are a little longer than I ordered but that is better than too short. Does the double banjo have enough thread (5mm) to stay firmly in the master? The manual says to torque all the bolts to 25 but that seems a little bit much, any recommendations? |

| Re: Stainless brake lines lined up everything today with the bike and it looks like every line is 2" too long and probably wont fit right. I emailed the guy and will wait and see what he says, I was extremely specific on my instructions and each line is 2" longer than I ordered. |

| Re: Stainless brake lines Wow,
I got an email from them in less than 1 hour on a Saturday! Said they will send a new set out Monday. I wasn't even expecting a response back ever let alone that prompt and that anser I'll keep you posted. Hopefully have them ready to install in a week. |

| Re: Stainless brake lines That banjo bolt does look a little short. How far did the original bolt thread into the master cylinder? I think the chances of stripping out the threads are greater if the bolt is too short. Glad the company is going to fix their mistake, I'd ask about the banjo bolt as well. |

I'll find out how it fits after I get the right length hoses.

| Re: Stainless brake lines installed the front lines and it looks and feels good IMO. The rear will wait until i feel like it. I dont really care about the rear line but I will probably just put it on when I change the rear brake fluid in the future. |

| Re: Stainless brake lines might be a stupid question, but how did you figure out the degrees of the fittings and the degrees orientation?? I'm looking to get an inexpensive set for my 900.

| Re: Stainless brake lines I installed the rear line, since I had the tail off while installing something else I figured I'd change the line/fluid. Looks good, much better than the stock black hoses IMO. |
