| Searching racing swingarm for 954 Hello, I'm looking for a racing swingarm for my Blade. The problem is... where? I can't buy it brand new, the cost of the kit is similar to the value of my bike. On web I found several images of racing swingarms, but I wasn't able to find anybody who wants sell one.
Does anbody know which is the producer of this kit? The rear caliper isn't necessary, for me (I have a CNC Discacciati, under the swingarm): I can draw and produce the support to fit the caliper on each swingarm. |

| Re: Searching racing swingarm for 954 954 aftermarket race parts become harder and harder for me to find every year, especially something like that swingarm. |

| Re: Searching racing swingarm for 954 Harder and harder... But the prices are more "popular". In 2003, to have one of these objects, was necessary to give out 3000-4000 euro.
On june, I "lost" a racing swingarm, sold for 600 euro... SGRUNT! |

| Re: Searching racing swingarm for 954 Very interesting, but my stirrup will be without the lower bar. In the weekend I hope to finish the drawing of the assembly... Stay tuned. |

| Re: Searching racing swingarm for 954 The racing swingarms used in TT and Endurance races aren't probably from Harris. I'm not sure my photos are of a Harris one, in this moment I have two ways: to find a real racing swingarm or to draw the modifies, to produce the single parts and (radically) modify an OEM swingarm.
The photo of the GSX-R swingarm are "the second way", I think to be able to do something similar. But I hope to find a racing swingarm, "Plug & Play"... |

| Re: Searching racing swingarm for 954 You know it is kinda heavy
I just thought they wielded a few do-dads on & called it good
I'm glad to know that, I was thinking about assigning it another job, but I will go ahead @ stick it on the track bike I'm putting together
(I managed to grab one of their engines & a few other things too)
thanks Quote:

| Re: Searching racing swingarm for 954 I'm also looking for the HRC link marked in the photo... It's the RUMI 2002 954 of the italian Superstock championship: http://img27.imageshack.us/img27/288...umilink.th.jpg
If somebody has this kit on his bike, I ask to give me the geometry. I can produce something of similar. The triangles will be in inox, laser cutted. The Dogbone will be equal, not similar; I will use the same steering-wheels of the OEM dogbone.
Very nice also the radiator... I have the same Termignoni and Ohlins rear shock on my Bike. |

I guess over there you put your $$ in a Jap bike? | I sold a 954 fuel tank to a guy in Rome and he told me he didn't know anybody with a Ducati. Same reasons as here, twice the price for half the quality. I guess they're just smarter than us :-)
