Re: Ebay aftermarket plastics?

heard it's hit or miss, with miss coming up more often. Poor fit, cheap material, broken / cracks during shipping and poor customer service / support. And the problem is that there are so many different sellers / suppliers its hard to tell who's good or bad.

Re: Ebay aftermarket plastics?

I got a set 6 months since for my cbr 929 and the fit is mostly very good. i did need to re drill all the holes but i could not get a used set of pannels in the U.K for the same price and then i would need to paint them so i would say the price is fantastic for them and i would buy again if i needed to.

Re: Ebay aftermarket plastics?

Here's some info Never buy aftermarket fairings from ebay

If you enter Aftermarket fairings in the 'Search' you'll find a lot of discussion on this topic. Good luck

Re: Ebay aftermarket plastics?

Bought some off auctmart a couple of months ago. Fitting's a bit of a pain and the finish obviously isn't up to oem standard but on the whole I found them quite good. Put a set of stompgrips on the tank to stop your leathers from wearing away at the paint and you should be grand.

Re: Ebay aftermarket plastics?

I VE heard the cheap ones from taiwan and china are rubbish - they crack more easily than the normal jap ones.
i would avoid them if they seem to good to be true - it often means there is a severe lack of quality - like nearly every other bargain on ebay or elsewhere!!!

maybe im a cynic - but its for good reason - burnt twice now on bargains on e bay
