| Re: Aprilia SXV450 Supermoto It's too bad they couldn't "ride" the thing and give an idea of what it can really do. When they put that motor in the RS chassis it's gonna be a sweet track weapon. |

| Re: Aprilia SXV450 Supermoto Yeah, I've been popping off about that bike for a couple years now on the .org.
I've said more than once that it is one of two bikes I've seen that would have me back riding on the street the minute one showed up at a local dealer.
The outlook on it hasn't been too rosy, but you never do know. |

Or better yet IMO, put the same engine in an ultralight street legal sportbike. Ultimate canyon tool. |

| Re: Aprilia SXV450 Supermoto The nice thing about the RSV450 would be it's ability to be streetable, more so than the RS 250 2-smoke. I've keeping my ears open for news on any further development of the RSV450, but have yet to hear any more. |

| Re: Aprilia SXV450 Supermoto Here is a video of Jon Francis from AF1 taking the SXV around the track. Looks and sounds good. http://www.apriliaforum.com/The%20Champ%204.avi
The SXV450 engine in a rs250 frame is just a huge rumor (much like the 1000cc v5 interceptor one from last year) going around. Aprilia hasn't even committed to making a street legal version yet, but a baja kit could maybe work in your state. |

| Re: Aprilia SXV450 Supermoto The last I heard anything about the possibility of putting it in an RS type frame was over a year ago. Even then it was as you said a rumor. |

| Re: Aprilia SXV450 Supermoto I sat on one of the 450 motards at the bike show and want one like nothing else in this world.
But everything I have heard about it is high maintance like a CRF450, lots of piston and oil changes for the street. |

| Re: Aprilia SXV450 Supermoto I'd love to see honda make a engine like this in a 650 and replace the Hawk and XR650 with one engine. Think light weight superbike (sv650) and bad ass motard, with the same engine. |
