Aprilia Mana: with a CVT transmission.

Never seen a bike with a Continuously variable transmission. (Other than scooters) This could work for my wife...

You can store a full face helmet where the gas tank should be?

Kind of like a reworked scooter, isn't it

It would make a very cool city bike. Easy to work in traffic, good looks, and a convenient place to store more valuable stuff ... and it even has radial mount calipers and other high end stuff.

Re: Aprilia Mana: with a CVT transmission.

I dont really trawl the other forums on the site but decided to do so today, My wife has the 850 Mana and absolutely loves it, very user friendly and once you get ya mind over no clutch its a lovely bike to ride.

I put some bridgestone bt-016's on hers as she did not like the feel of the dunlops and she loves it.

Re: Aprilia Mana: with a CVT transmission.

I'm not an automatic anything guy. (I wish my minivan was a 6 speed).

That said, it makes for an easier transition for noobs into motorcycling. Which in turn would make for more riders. More riders means more m/c awareness by cagers.

It also frees up your left hand for more important things during a ride... like uhm... picking your nose.
