| Aprilia Mana: with a CVT transmission. Never seen a bike with a Continuously variable transmission. (Other than scooters) This could work for my wife... |

Kind of like a reworked scooter, isn't it |

| Re: Aprilia Mana: with a CVT transmission. I dont really trawl the other forums on the site but decided to do so today, My wife has the 850 Mana and absolutely loves it, very user friendly and once you get ya mind over no clutch its a lovely bike to ride.
I put some bridgestone bt-016's on hers as she did not like the feel of the dunlops and she loves it.

| Re: Aprilia Mana: with a CVT transmission. I'm not an automatic anything guy. (I wish my minivan was a 6 speed).
That said, it makes for an easier transition for noobs into motorcycling. Which in turn would make for more riders. More riders means more m/c awareness by cagers.
It also frees up your left hand for more important things during a ride... like uhm... picking your nose.

| Re: Aprilia Mana: with a CVT transmission. As my name in the top left corner suggests Ive only one working arm fo this bike is ideal but I'd be a bit weary of buying an Aprilia (supply of parts). There are cool end cans from Leo Vince to get of the ugly one thats on it stock, thats the first thing i'd do if I were to buy one. The fact that you can select the gears yourself is a great advantage over CVT in my book. Deathace how is your wifes' bike going any problems besides the factory recall? |

| Re: Aprilia Mana: with a CVT transmission. aprilia parts are easier to get now that Piaggio is at the helm. not like honda but it is better than the past |

| Re: Aprilia Mana: with a CVT transmission. Our top motor cycle mag, AMCN has one in their test stable and they give it a good wrap. It looks ok as well I think.
