Exilarating for who? For those who are not in the know?

Heck, I was overtaken in the car by what looked like a CG at the lights. I bet ANY 125cc bike would be more "exilarating" than the usual family saloon!

Thanks for asking, Sideshow Bob. The bike should be at the dealership next week, which gives me a few more days to sort out things like insurance and crash bungs, and to clear the garage.

Re: 2007 CBR125R Photos and Specifications

here's my review
plus's
fun to ride
looks the goods
nimble handling
make good commuter/ learner bike
does about 120km/h flat out with my 50 odd kilo girl on it

negatives
slow (with a few mods yet to come may be better)
average brakes (just put new goodridge pads in yet to test)
ridiculously low 1st gear
notchy gearbox, false neutrals often

anyone know where i can get a +1 front or -2 rear sprocket for this bike? needs more top end

I've heard that if you raise the idle slightly (you may have to tinker to get it right for you) you can get the changes to smooth out. Also, one or two of the Thais over here have changed the chain, which apparently helps as well. No, I don't know what they changed it to.

As for more top end speed, some of the Farang (that's us lot) have put bigger head and bore kits on them, siting that the motor does not have enough power to warrant just changing the sprockets but I don't know about that.

LOL Loopy. But you WILL get him something for his birthday and new years, right?

Insurance - sort of. I have a few quotes but would rather have the bike delivered to me first, as I would like to have all the numbers and information regarding the bike to hand. I don't even have a licence plate number at the moment! Plus I'd like to get some crash protectors installed before I venture out. It HAS been over a year since I last rode a bike with me in the driving seat, so there's a bit of trepidation to say the least.
