2008 Honda XL700V Transalp - Photos And Specifications

Eight years after the last models release, the new Transalp with its new engine and adventure sports style, reestablishes itself as Europe's most adaptable mid sized motorbike. Easily able to carry two passengers and their gear, this bike can perform easily on any surface. New features include spoked lightweight wheels, a smaller 19 inch front wheel, a wider radial rear tyre, ABS brakes, twin front discs, and a new catalyzer, installed for a low center of gravity, below the swingarm . The contoured dual seat and redesigned rear seat cowl, with integrated pillion grips, will ensure a comfortable ride over any distance for both the rider and passenger .

I want one, I want one badly! This is such a good alternative to the expensive BMW's and KTM's and most likely alot cheaper to maintain also. Does anyone know MSRP on it yet?

They do look like a good bike, also a good everyday bike, but obviously not as powerful as the bigger BMW's and KTM's. They're selling new for about £5500 or so over here, I think.
