| 2010 Honda Fury - Photos And Specifications The new 2010 Honda Fury is sure to be one bike that you either love or hate, and so far opinions from all sides are divided on everything from the looks to the engineering.
Officially launched at New York's International Motorcycle Show, in January 2009, the Fury is said to be a milestone machine. It is a radical approach by Honda to the custom styled machine loved by so many. Honda aims to place the essence of chopper styling within easy reach of virtually every rider, while at the same time offering the same reliability and build quality we have come to expect.
The new bike features ‘chopper’ styling and clean looks on the longest wheelbase of any production Honda motorcycle. A muscular looking V-twin engine, a modified version of the 1312cc engine from the VTX1300 bike, delivers a thumping 1132cc’s. The engine still retains the angle of 52 degrees and the single pin crankshaft but the cams, cylinder heads, exhaust system and ports have been redesigned.
The bike has a single shock suspension on the rear but, due to the design work, manages to maintain a ‘hard tail’ appearance. It also has a slim looking 21” front tyre but at the back an extra wide 200 series tyre is fitted
I like the way that apart from the throttle and brake cables, all the other wiring is routed through the handlebars. I think it gives a lovely clean look to the front end. I also really like the way they have designed the radiator to fit in between the spars of the frame, that is a neat touch.
The low ride height is sure to appeal to female riders, as well as those who have a hankering for a chop, without wanting to build one themselves. Honda says of the machine “It's the chopper you would build for yourself--if you had a factory instead of a garage” and while I’m not entirely sure of that, as part of building a chop is adding your own individuality, it will definitely appeal to some riders.
The bike is due to be with American dealers towards the end of March and will later hit Europe. The price has yet to be announced by Honda and all I have found on the Internet so far is guesses as to how much it will cost.
The Fury will be available in the following colours, Dark Red Metallic, Metallic Silver, Ultra Blue Metallic, Black, and a limited production Matte Silver Metallic just for 2010.
It also looks like the following Honda Genuine accessories should be available so that you can add a touch of individuality to your bike.
Leather Accessories: Custom Rider Seat (multiple designs), Custom Passenger Seat (multiple designs), Leather Front Pouch (Fury logo).
Backrests: Low Sissy Bar Upright, Passenger Backrest Pad.
Chrome Accessories: Rear Fender Panel, Chrome Allen Bolt Inserts (5, 6, 8mm).
Billet Accessories: Master Cylinder Cover, Oil Dipstick, Clutch Cover, Timing Cover, Upper Fork Bolt Cover, and License Plate Frame.
Additional Accessories: Boulevard Screen, Braided Lines: clutch, idle/throttle and brake, Front Chin Spoiler (colour matched), Front Chin Spoiler LED Light Kit, Outdoor Cover.
(Accessory availability and specifications subject to change without notice. Final items subject to change.)

| Re: 2010 Honda Fury - Photos And Specifications from what ive heard so far from video reviews and reading first ride impressions a few places online its still a honda. they all say its comfortable, handles well for what it is...i think its obvious it was never meant for a race track. will i buy one who knows. i would ride it and if income sufficed i could see it in my garage if i came into money. for me an ideal garage would have a streetfighter for the daily grind, blade for the track, i could see the fury or a triumph thruxton for a weekend cruiser as my third. although a supermoto might nock that down to 4...
