Why the hell can't the Melb suppliers get competitive on the price......bit late for that now....doing the paper work tomorrow....should have it in a couple of days.

Unfortunately you missed the big cash cow (just went through the paper work yesterday for the CBR1000RR and the gear was sorted 2 weeks ago)....

So in answer to your question, probably not.... ....but at least the pressure is off now.

I don't know how true it is or whether it is $18000 + orc

No I don't. Only the two bikes for sale. I figured they'd be gone now, especially for the price, so I didn't (couldn't) get a demo out of the stock allocated to us. I'm still in total amazement I have them here. $19 on road for christs sake.

Checked with my mate again yesterday, he's still positive that it's $18000 ride away, we should find out in a day or two.

I know some dealers will lead you to beleive that a certain $ amount is the final cost, get you hooked and then hit you with orc, knowing that your not going to blow the deal, so close to riding away with a new toy.

It IS possible, but they'll get spanked over it for sure. And I can't see the point. It's a NEW model bike in high demand. A dealer in Qld I spoke to had 6 pre sold for full retail. Then again, I still have my 2, so what can you do? Ha
