We left mornington on a bus at 10.30 (ok maybe a little later)
we got to calder at approx 12.30 and had to wait for the gates to open, and straight away you could tell they would not get a great turn out. there were only about maybe 2500-3000 people there, The show seemed to drag out quite a bit, lots of boring momments. Some of our club members wanted to leave at 5.30 but we talked them into staying for at least another hour, we did not see the end of the night.
I knew what to expect as I've seem lots of footage from the net, not sure what the other guys were expecting, they started to complain about just seeing stoppies and wheelies
A couple of the yanks were very very good (although they lack respect for their bikes), they shitted all over the aussies, but then again, they've been doing this stuff for a few years.
One guy "Darius" was absolutely amazing at his control over his bike while on 1 wheel.
Rob Jones (an aussie) did 1 trick none of the yanks could do, he bunny hoped his bike several times
An aussie flipped a brand new cbr1000rr, no 12 oclock bar or engine crash cage. he dropped a bit of oil on the track which had to be cleaned up
I don't know if it was worth the money we payed, but you never know unless you go.
Would I go again next year, maybe if they had a few more entrants
