Re: Is the AMCN out?

I heard that one of the dealers here is offering the 10 with a muzzy pipe at not extra cost.

For those that are interested the 2wf comparison is out.

Re: Is the AMCN out?

The stupid thing is, that when I asked theguys at amcn about which bike they said that the Blade was undoubtedly the best finished and and just so good a bike it was boring. The ZX10 is a light swicth and just wants to wheely everywhere over 6-7 thou. So, how the fuk does that make it the best bike, and most exiting? If exciting means you're on your arse more often than not, then you can fukin have "exciting". I want boring, let me ride the ****er as hard as i can without thebike making me it's bitch and let me be fast, not riding around at 3/4 pace thinkin "I'm gonna be turfed off any minute here". Coz that's basically what they're saying. They said it about the R1 when it first hit the scene years ago, now they say it was an unrideable beast that had an 80% write off rate, but then it was "exciting" and just the "best wheelie bike ever". You read and believe what you like, but it's been this way for the last 4 years. The Honda, while not making the most power, will be the best bike over all out of the lot. It will most definately be the easiest to ride quickly which is what you want. Anyway, I've said enough.

And don't forget the unquestionable Honda reliability and quality construction and finish.
R1's having some problem, they blow up, Kwaka fit and finish questionable.

Re: Is the AMCN out?

I'm not suprised about the "boring" statement. When I first got my 929 I found it rather boring as well, and thats purely because it did things so well.

Re: Is the AMCN out?

Well give me a boring bike any day. I fukin hate getting on bikes that the whole time you're riding you think about if this and if that. I just want it to do everything I want it to do and let me ride to my capabilities.

Re: Is the AMCN out?

And seeing as only a handful of th epeople on this board are actually good enough riders to squeeze the extra performance out of a modern sport bike at the track, the average joe will go faster on the easier to ride bike.,.

Re: Is the AMCN out?

From the what Mr. Burgess says, it doesn't sound like too many MOTOGP riders are complaining when they get to sit on the "easy to ride" Honda...

Re: Is the AMCN out?

Too true. And I didn't hear Josh and Krusty beggin for more power at the first round this year either. Guy that races for us (Roland Kruck) won the a grade privateer extreme in 2001 on a 929 beating a handful of 10-20 more h.p R1's for the same reason. He won an 02 R1 and took most of the year to get to and beat the same times he did on the 929. Krusty beat Curtain in 2000 in proddy superbike on a 929 vs R1. The proof is in the pudding so they say
