| Re: Friends, countrymen, lend me your ears... Matt had a good thing going the other week. We could meet at healesville at 1.30 on the Saturday or Sunday in front of the PUB. 1.30 is a good time to catch up in winter cause the roads should be fairly dry by then, and healesville is a good spot to meet when heading for the hills.
And I agree that we need a more direct form of notice about rides. SMS might work... |

| Re: Friends, countrymen, lend me your ears... Cowboy, I prolly wouldn't be posting your mobile number and email on the web like this, cause before you know it you'll have spam everywhere. I still can't get rid of all the dodgy **** that comes through on my aol account. Anyways, I am PM'ing you my details now. |

| Re: Friends, countrymen, lend me your ears... I have the handles of all the .org who seemed to be from the melbourne area, I can PM you and you can send out an annoucment that way (unfortunately only 5 people per PM). Then all they have to do is reply to it with thier details.
Just have to work out a way to have an SMS or Email list which isn't expensive and the members of the list have their privacy protected.
The email list is easy, just use something like Yahoo groups, but the SMSs aren't free. |
