Bike Expo - Meet Up??

Bike expo is on September 10, 11, 12 at the royal exhibition in Carlton. Might be a good chance to finally get a meet happening. Lygon is nice and close too...we can head on down there after for a coffee....whos up??

If it's on the Saturday, count me in too. If it's the Sunday I'll have to pike (early) on account of having to ride back to the land of never ending excitement..

Righto then....lets make it Saturday

How about we meet at the piazza italia in Lygon st at 10am.

The Piazza is the parkland opposite Players and the underground car park.

From there we'll head to the expo. Once all and sundry are satisfied with looking at expo we can head back to Lygon for coffee/lunch.

Now I will be going regardless, so if someone wants to go, but everyone pikes last moment (guilty your honour ), i will still be going.

How is this for everyone?

Haiiro - What time would you have to leave Melb Sunday and what time could you be there by?

We'd prolly be finished up by 4pm.....and you can always split early...

That should be fine. Only difference is that it's a tad colder on the trip up, then again, it got so cold last sunday it started feeling warm.

I'll probably want to take a quick trip into Peter Stevens to check out thier sale they have that coincides with the Show, So I'd probably end up getting to the show at a lazy midday. But either day would suit me without being sure of what else will occur between then and now.

Haiiro, Are you in Melbourne or Bendigo? If bendigo you can trek down on saturday, ive got a spare room that your free to crash in for the night. That way you dont have to get up at the crack of dawn, and I can show take you into the city.

Meet at corner of Elizabeth and La Trobe St at 10am.

To Peter Stevens for some quality drooling time.

On to Exhibition Buildings for some more, even better quality drooling time.

Upon exhaustion of drool, proceed to Lygon St for refueling, and enjoyment of company of other mental cases.

Is everyone ok with this?

Sounds like a plan. I might head up to PS a tad earlier, see how things go and such. I've actually got a place in Box Hill and I usually ride down on Friday arvos after work so I should be alright. Thanks for the offer

Hmmmm....good question. Im assuming yes due to them having a sale, and the expo being on but I may be very very wrong. Ill drop in tomoro and find out

Are we sure that there is a sale on? I know that they have timed thier sales with the expo for the last couple of years but is it happening this year as well? Peter Stevens Imports company had a hand in the gear sale the other weekend so they might not do one at thier retail store this year.

can anyone confirm if Peter Stevens has a sale or not?

I dropped in there today and no....they are not having a sale this year....therefor I ask the question....which day is best for the majority? Do we wanna leave it till Sunday? or perhaps go on saturday?

Either would be good for me but I'd lean towards Sunday to make it a little easier.

Sorry guys, I'm working on getting some tickets for sandown and even if I don't go, It'll be a couch potatoe daywatching it, but who knows, the best plans
