Anyone know of any CB250's for sale in the Melbourne area?

My SO just got her Learner Permit today and up until this point has been keen on a Suzuki Across, but after coming back from her two days of course and test on a CB250 she is now thinking about getting a CB250.

She already has a loan lined up and is keen to get a bike as of next weekend. So I'd like to make as strong of a case of the CB250 (no fairings so less damage when she drops it, probably be a cheaper bike to buy and less insurance, plus its a handy little learners bike). The weekend of wondering around looking at 250s a month back we never came across a CB250 much to my dispair. I'd like to strike while the iron is hot so if anyone knows of a CB250 in good nick for sale I'd love to hear about it.

Pass on my opinion that CB250's are a great learner ride. Cheap and easy to run and repair. As you said nothing to break WHEN you fall off. If she wants something a little sportier, have you looked at VTR250's? Fantastic bike. Or a trail bike is a great way to learn to ride on the road too. Doesnt go too fast, good power, easy to ride, more comfortable, better vision, louder, and can be thrown up the road over and over again without any damage(talking from experience ) Thats what I learnt on and look at me...Im a god!!! hahaha

Grab the Trader, out on thursday. There are 4 currently advertised online at the trading post.

Thanks Cowboy!!!

Had a chance encounter with a CB250 rider today during lunch she told me that Redwing has a few and that they onless some of the learner school bikes when they are finished with them. So it could be a goer.
