Defect details: Rear brake master cylinder connecting rod end bearing corrosion, on the affected units. Due to improper material selection for the rear brake master cylinder connecting rod small end bearing, if the connecting rod end bearing becomes contaminated with anti freeze agent, the aluminium material part corrodes and the rear brake pedal becomes difficult to operate.
Consumer action: The customer will be required to present their machine at their nearest Honda dealer for the rear brake master cylinder connecting rod end bearing to be replaced. The dealer will carry out the work required and mark the unit as having had the affected part replaced. For further information contact your authorised Honda Dealer.
