| Re: The Sook: What oil for 1000RR? Use dino oil for that oil change.
Edit: at 3200 Km's, you can switch to synthetic.

| Re: The Sook: What oil for 1000RR? Redline, Motul, Castrol Superbike or any of the reputable oils would be ok, there is probably a thread on this forum about oils (well there is on every other forum!) so if you do a seach you should find it.
I am having my 6000 k service doen in a couple of weeks and will be changing to full synthetic |

| Re: The Sook: What oil for 1000RR? Motul 3000, Castrol Active 4T (superbike is 100% synth, don't use it), or Elf 4 DX Ratio. Personally I wouldn't use a full synth until 12K, and use a semi synth at 6K , but it depends on how hard you ran it in and ride it etc.........But to be safe, I always run mineral to 6, semi to 12 and full from then on.
Anyone with half a brain would know Col would say................Castrol. Haha Wonder why? |
