| Arata slip on for CBR1000RR Arata now have slip ons for the CBR1000RR. The retail for $1199
(and all the Arata products have just gone up too, so I can only do whatever I have left in stock at the NOW prices etc) . I'll have my first shipment of them here in about a week.
They are also releasing a CRF/YZF 4 stroke MotoX muffler too. Looks pretty trick. They should be here soon. |

| Re: Arata slip on for CBR1000RR You'll find that they'll be dearer in the U.S now too. Once Dan has them for sale, you'll get a better idea. Haha. I was selling the 600RR slip on for $899. But they will now be $1199 once I run out and have to order more. Not too expensive for here though. An Akra is around that while other aren't too far off it in the same Ti finish. |

Sorry about laughing in BDA's thread also. Nothing personal, just got into the flow of an otherwise humorous post. Hope you recover your $$ through insurance if the scumbags aren't caught first. |

Gotta keep your profits up and there isn't much you can do when the manufacturer/supplier ups the price.

| Re: Arata slip on for CBR1000RR Bacchus, no probs, I've copped alot worse don't worry. Check out the ceracing site when you can, I give it and take it pretty well over there. hahaha
Price rise was due to Titanium costs in Japan apparently, but yeah, what can I do? They put the cost of them up, and so I have to put the selling price up too. Still, as I said, compared to other pipes and prices over here, and for what you are getting with the Arata gear, it ain't too bad at all. |

Bacchus, the U$ has fallen a lot v the yen. I know the A$ has been much stronger, but my guess is that Japanese firms think export prices in U$, work out a percentage, then apply it everywhere. Unlike German companies, who have moved over to global equivalent pricing (you'll find little difference in pre-tax prices of German autos worldwide).
Edit: Oh, and metals prices have risen sharply in the last year. Good for Australia, but bad for imported metal intensive goods.

| Re: Arata slip on for CBR1000RR You don't know? hahaha Sweet. $2300. hahaha Nah, they are $2150 currently. And I map the powercommander for you for free (saves you $250).
Oh yeah, and Repsol, the power difference between the 2 will more than make up for the price,. haha
I mapped a GSXR1000 last week. Made 157 with a Yosh slip on. Put an Arata system on and remapped it, made 168. Now yes, I know, it's a system, compared to a slip on, but god damn, 10h.p over STOCK is good, but 10 over a slip on? And a "Yosh on a GSXR" unbeatable combo slip on to boot? Hahahaha |

| Re: Arata slip on for CBR1000RR umm.. Sook? do you have any "Arata" logos (the ones on the pipe) I had to take mine off and I kinda lost it before I could rivet it back on. I just have 2 rivet holes in the side of the pipe ATM....

| Re: Arata slip on for CBR1000RR Nah I haven't, but I can see if they'll send me some.
The Micron with a Ti muffler (for comparison's sake) would be $2398 RRP. I can do it better for you, but still, for the same if not more money, I'd go for the Arata every time. |
