Magical Racing in Oz

Just scored the distribution for Magical Racing in Oz.

They have previously been uninterested in supplying outside of Japan for anything other than retail, so I'm pretty happy, and in keeping with our "best Quality and Performance" line of products Magical racing will fit right in with the Arata and Matris we already supply etc. You can check it out on our site or at www.magicalracing.co.jp or at www.doinbikes.com.au/magical_racing.htm Still trying to work out pricing etc, so give me some time.lol thanks.

Just interested in prices at this stage (scratches and cracks in current mirrors so they will have to be replaced at some stage but $ is the problem) but probably a 04 CBR1000RR, Type 1 Head with Black Stem.

How do the Type 1, 2, 3 Heads match up size wise to the current 1000RR mirrors? Its hard to tell from the website.

Re: Magical Racing in Oz

add ons are $125 a pair, from what I can work out so far. I must be a tad thick, coz the price list is hard to work out etc, but once I get it sorted, I'll be sweet. But as for the whole mirrors, just waiting for Simon to get back to me about a piece missing on the list, then I can let you know. Thanks

Re: Magical Racing in Oz

JUST got the parts in, and wow. Very trick gear. The mirrors are way better than i thought they would be, and screens with the carbon trim look really nice, and different to anything else really. They'll be on display here for a while, still waiting for my bike to get back from painting etc, so if you want to, drop in and check it out.

Re: Magical Racing in Oz

Hope to be out of here mid next month. I say HOPE. haha. But still doing the systems, dampers and MR gear, running the dyno out of somewhere else. Will let you know where/when etc when I do.

Mirrors (carbon race) will retail for $699/pair, and that is with the t3 head. I just got them for my 600RR. I like them better than I thought I would from the pics.

Re: Magical Racing in Oz

$600 for mirrors, ouch bend over insert here. I'd never pay that no matter how nice they are.

I opened up their homepage and saw the nice ZX10 and saw the swingarm and thought no ****ing way its carbon fiber. Then found that its just "armor" pretty cool though.

Re: Magical Racing in Oz

It IS AUS$'s guys. haha and they are carbon fibre. I thought the same when i got them, but everyone that I show them to has said "that ain't too bad considering what you're getting", ( and they come with those lenses already in them) which amazed me, but anyway like I said, you can just get the lenses for your stock mirrors too if you like. But if/when you see them in the flesh, you won't be surprised by the cost.

Re: Magical Racing in Oz

The problem you've got here is you can buy direct from Magical Racing, at a significant discount, including shipping, GST, duty, and import slugs from UPS etc.

Re: Magical Racing in Oz

i agree, some of the other stuff is pretty close to what you'd get it from the site itself for, but the pricing they're giving me, that's what I have to sell them for to make 5%. For example, the C/F trim smoked screens, landed from there would be around $317, I'm retailing them for $359, pretty close. But yeah, the mirrors, I think I need to have words. haha

Yeah, if you have to charge that much to make 5%, man, they're taking you to the cleaners! It looks like nice stuff, good quality. But bugger me if I'd ever spend $600+ on a pair of mirrors! I'd want them to turn ugly chicks into supermodels when I looked into them.

Re: Magical Racing in Oz

The screens are awesome. if you haven't seen their screens, man, ............... the C/F trim models retail for $359 which isn't too bad in comparison to some of the other better screens etc, but I've showed them to a few other shops and customers here and their mouths have fallen open in amazement. real nice screens.
