Aus GP Roll call - who's gonna be at PI?

I wanna come!

But I won't be there to harass you guys until 30/10 (like the way I got the date "correct"?).

I've already talked with the SO, and any of you guys are welcome to the February wedding, if you can stand being around a bunch of crow eaters. Don't know the exact date yet, but in her words, "the more the merrier". Did I find a good one or what?!

Ill be going Im possibly going down with a mate who has a race transporting bussiness as I really want to cheer on CV, I will know In a couple of days.. If so that will be 3 trips from sydney to PI and back within a month! as Im going down at the end of the month for two days testing then again 2 weeks later for the Australian Supers

well it ain't a secret anymore, so anyone in Melbourne who wants to come, Goldfingers tonight (Tuesday) CEII and Hopper as well as a few others (dunno who yet) will be there to select Colin grid chicks for the weekend. Last few years this has been hush hush a little bit, but this year it's a free for all. If you can make it, come down and have a few beers, check out the chicks and shoot the **** with CEI and Hopper. See ya there.

I just got back. I wanna die......... I have had NO sleep, bent all night, and caught plane back, and straight to the shop. I am seriously sturggling. Colin's chewing tobacco just knocked me on my arse, probably coz I was too pissed and forgot to keep spitting it out and swallowed it instead. lol HUGE night though. Well I did get a pretty insistant invite to her place. But she's just shy of an hour and halfs ride away and I had some work to do to be ready for a review tomorrow. Plus she has had me to herself for the last two days so time to get some longing happening I think.

Plus I needed to make sure I got everything done so I can head off early to the GP tomorrow arvo.

Going to see if I can't con Cowboy1600 into going along part of the Grand Ridge rd rather than the **** boring Gippy Hwy (Are you listening boy?).

Are there any goods roads on that alternate route, there better be cause it's twice the time to get there!

Other than the hour trek along the freeway and the 40km from Wonthaggi to the Island its got plenty of twisties to keep you entertained and also far less cops to stifle the fun.

Road home along that route last night, few rough parts on some of the corners but its all good.

yep the GP was good......but things think about for next year (this being my first time at the track):

1. Take your phone and camera charger
2. Don't loose camera bag, data cable, spare battery and memory card on the Saturday
3. Camp trackside so the amber liquid can flow freer and you can raise hell with the rest of the Hawiian Shirt brigade.
