| Sydney, New South Wales Riding Hi Locals,
Just wondering what some good 1 and 2 day ride clubs are for Superbike riders around Sydney. Want to start exploring more with some good riders who know where the best roads are.
Cheers,
ICHSNOO |

| Re: Sydney, New South Wales Riding Not sure about ride clubs, I'm in with a grou of 5 or 6 that I trust, and won't really ride with people I haven't gone on small rides with, but you should try RObertson, Kangaroo valley and back via the Kiama international raceway.. er.. Kiama bends. The road to RObertson in particular is probably my favourite road in Sydney, it's about 10 - 15km of winding uphill road with lots of 35km/h bends, and a few 15's and 25's thrown in to keep you awake. A few 45's and 55's for good measure, and there is a pir shop at the top with good pies. Watch our for the trucks that need to use both lanes to negotiate some of the corners, and there are afew local riders on 250's that will make most big bike riders look like they are walking - be humble, enjoy the road, and leave room to move in case of trucks. Very few cops here, but the corners are slow enough that breaking the actual speed limit is not needed to enjoy yourself. If you need to know where it is, I'll try and give you a description.

| Re: Sydney, New South Wales Riding Thanks Zeeman,
I will check out the south roads a bit methinks. I am getting sick of the Wollombi / Cessnock / Wisemans / Putty Loop that I have done so many times. I wont even ride Mt White anymore with the 60kms limit - just not worth losing points over. I have lots of testing for bike mags which has taken me up to the best roads in NSW - oxley & thunderbolt, but it's such a long hike and you really need two days for it and an ass of steel. Oh well, might see you out on the road sometime.

why not hook up with OZVFR for the odd day/2 day ride?
They normally move along at a reasonable but
not too stupid pace.

| Re: Sydney, New South Wales Riding Agree with Zeeman... I live at the top of "The Pass" (as it's called by us locals) and the other 4 "passes" that surround it... So, I get some good riding in with myself and some mates from Goulburn way... among others Quote: |
