Come to California and I'll fix ya up. You have to bring that pretty machine, for me to ride, though.

Re: good service for SP2???

Welcome, I'm a sp-2 try hard who still hasn't got one yet.
If it's only the 1,000km service just take it to the local Honda dealer, they shouldn't screw it up seeing it's only fluids and filters, but they still usually do. Ask around your area with who's good up their for performance and dyno work, that's your best bet for the PC3usb. Try e-mailing The Sook on these boards he has a dyno business in Sydney and is a great help I'm sure he can hook you up with someone good up there.

Re: good service for SP2???

thanks mate. i have actually just droped it off at Serco Motorsports for PCIII and dyno tune. pick it up later today. i have taken it to the dealer for first service and Yoshi's but they didn't seem to want to help me much. Serco Motorsports should be good, a friend of mine used to work there.

Perhaps check out one of the registered Power Commander dyno tuners up your way. Went to a dyno day about a year ago and the flew a bloke down from queensland just for the day....he knew his stuff. Wish I could remember his name and which shop he was from.

Here is my Dyno from Monday, after having PCIII installed. compared to other SP2/ RC-51's Dyno's it seems to be good.

Re: good service for SP2???

?????????????????
Am I reading that right, cause it looks like after installation and mapping you got 1 hp! The curve looks almost identicle, am I missing something here?
Any other mods, flapper, air filter etc?

Re: good service for SP2???

im not 100% sure how it works, i think the first one is the base map that it comes with for the bike, and the second is after being dyno tuned. They say they come stock with about 120HP so I'm not sure how that dyno works, it also reads time and not RPM

I've got DNA air filters, flapper mod, and Yoshi cans.

I am keen to learn as much as I can if anyone has anymore info.

Re: good service for SP2???

Hmmmmm I think we definately need the Sook in on this thread.
If I paid my hard earned for a PC3usb and had it dyno'd and mapped and got 1 hp I would be pissed. From hearing about others with a flapper, pipes, PC3 and map you should be looking at 10+ As well as a much nicer linerar power curve

Re: good service for SP2???

Thanks for your concern. I don't understand it either, I am waiting for the shop to call back and explain it. I understand that I now have 136.9HP but their is no way I had 135.9HP when it was stock. Most other SP2 has around 125HP with cans.

I'll keep you posted.

SP2005

Think I saw you on Ispwich road the other day heading into Pro Honda? (I was on a new sp2 as well)

Good luck with the tuning - that dyno run shows differences that could be caused by the humidity change? Been ages since I checked Rogue - but i recall something there about aftermarket air filters not helping things a lot, though unsure if the DNA were mentioned.

Cya out there
