Insuremyride Australia

Recently I dealt with insuremyride here in Australia and so far I give them a big When shopping around I asked them about book values and they came in way higher than the other guys, and they are a bunch of riders and know about bikes. Check them out Motorcycle Insurance Australia - Motor Bike Insurance - InsureMyRide My full cover on the 990 duke came in just over $500 for the year.

Re: Insuremyride Australia

I've dealt with Insure my ride a couple of times and second the good service and attitude they display.
However due to circumstances (3 claims in 5 years) i couldn't re insure with them so i had to look elsewhere and found AON insurance, Parramatta office, and they were about 3 hundred bucks cheaper than IMR and had good service as well.

Re: Insuremyride Australia

Yeah and it pays to ask them what their version of "market value" is. I found a big difference between the different providers right there.

Re: Insuremyride Australia

Anyone can take your money but it'd be better to hear from someone who's tried to make a claim through them. Has anyone had that experience?

Re: Insuremyride Australia

I almost signed up for their cover on my '08 'blade until a friend pointed out the fine print on their FAQ page - any licence suspensions in the last 5 years makes your policy worthless!!! Ended up paying substantially more with ebike online.

I'm with IMR, great prices. Lets hope if I ever need to claim that they are great in that department too..

Re: Insuremyride Australia

Yup- seems like most of them have get-out clauses associated with your riding/driving record. I would have gone with IMR or Ebike if I could have found anyone who'd ever made a claim with them to find out if it all went according to plan. As it was I ended up signing on with QBE who I know do the right thing from mates who've put claims through them AND because the 08 Blade was bike of the year their rates were 50% off their usual.
