Still looks like theres some life left in Melbourne town.
G'day to the rest of Australia and adopted Aussies as well.
I've been off a bike for a couple of years due to an unfortunate Wallaby incident. In fact, I was pulled up as part of the bike crackdown which was mentioned at the start of this thread, no fine, but it was a pain being pulled over when you are heading to a important exam. Just to give you guys an idea of how long ago I had my last riding fix.
Hows the riding these days? Anything regularly organised?

Welcome
Hmmm baby blade to a 1000 blade, yeah that couldn't possibly go pear shaped
Well bitches (ratter) before I sell my darling how about we organise something say in the rideout forum
Matt 232 interested in a 29 to get the skills back?
Oh and heres one for everyone.
If you had a woman like Ratters would you sit at home post whoring or would you spend your time taking care of "domestic duties"?
It just don't make sense |

| Re: Hi to all the other Aussies out there Will,
I've got confidence in my abilities and being able to pickup stuff I'm missing, which is tempered by a nigling doubt that I will likely drop my beautiful bike any and every second after I role out of Peter Steven's door. So until I'm sure that I've successfully made the jump everything is going to be keep in check. What are you looking to get to replace your 929 with other than a woman?
If you can hang onto your bike for a month or so, when my Fireblade boat comes in , I will be at the ride with bells on.
While the offer of the 929 is generous but my poor bank balance could never handle the purchase, it is screaming in agony as it is, with the pending hit of CBR1000.
Why do you think that the post whoring and are mutually exclusive? I would suggest that in fact the Post Whoring may in fact be the prelude to the and ratter's partner is far luckier than we think? 2,867 posts no wonder ratter looks so fit.......
Ratter, fret not, once I've got my wheels there is little chance that I'm going to want to get off them, especially during the honeymoon period! So you will have a stand in for anyone who is consistantly absent on the organised rides. |

| Re: Hi to all the other Aussies out there Got a question?? Dynos can only test Rear Wheel Horse Power right?? and you lose about 10-15 percent of your power from the engine to the wheel right?? so my blade dynoing 135.2 at the wheel would have about 148 HP at the engine??
ill post my Dyno run soon when i get it scanned...it has a very nice power curve |

Sounds pretty much correct, I think honda advertised something like 150-150 hp which would be at the crank so if you took away 10-15% your bike is on the mark. |

But when you consider the power to weight, with you compared to Will, it is a big jump for a flyweight |

Well I'm off to the Motorshow this arvo to check out my bike ( ) in person (assuming its there) and check out the Aussie alarm system I'm looking at getting. BikeBandit |

Just an aussie phrase for something that is miles away from where you are at present, most people use the term bum****edeqypt |
