I heard a story the other day you might be able to confirm it for me, apparently there was an expat Aussie over in America (no idea where) and he decided he wanted to raise the Aussie flag over his house. But when he did the authorities threaten him with gaol (en-us: jail) time.....ring any bells?

I did a few searches for threads with more than 500 posts, unfortunately you HAVE to provide a keyword and the most common words are banned. So I went with 'bike', 'day' and 'ride' in three seperate searches. There was only one threat returned in each case with more than 500 posts, so I think we can safely class this as the thread
