I went into the city today to pick up my voucher from the bike shop, as I was putting the disklock away I guy came up wanting to know if he could record the sound of my bike starting and me riding off. I said fair enough and went through the process of warming up the engine and putting all the gear on. The poor barstard stood there for about 5 minutes while I zipped, clipped and velcoed myself into a ball of leather and cordura. It got pretty weird him just standing there with a huge microphone ( yes it was a mircophone) and a tiny minidisk player, and didn't speak unless I said something to him.

Apparently it was for some sydney radio show (not sure why they are getting melb motorbike sounds). I don't think he realised the significance of my bike being the new Blade (bloody heathen ) just wanted a bike sound.

In the end I was happy to ride off rather than stay and watch him lurk near my exhaust. Pretty weird really.
