You guys want a beer..........I mean a fukin awesome beer............go to the George IV at Picton, or the Australian Hotel in the Rocks (Sydney) ask for the Bock. You'll never look back.
As for every day beer.........Carlton draught is great, Heineken great too. But VB? Come on guys...........have a bit of Cooth (?) Hahahahaha
Sorry Sook, but Fosters is the cheapest Aussie piss that you can find, in my book. I realize it has the international fame and all, but it sucks! Have never figured out why it has such a following - kind of like Coors here in America. And Heineken? That is the leader of the "skunk beer" pack! Never trust any beer packaged in a green bottle. OK, I'm off to do a bit of research now...

Dayum! Couldn't find it there - thanks though. Somewhere I have a slide (night shot) taken from my '92 gold hunting trip with a "slab" of this beer beside me in my sleeping bag. If I can find that slide, and look through a magnifying glass, I'll put this very important mystery to bed once and for all.

Ratter I'm dissapointed, once you've had jack you never go back

Fosters was actually a piss take for foreigners who thoought drinking aussie beer made em tough, for some reason they drink it, we don't, infact I can't even remember the last time I saw someone drinking fosters

VB is absolute ****, I cannot believe you would drink it cowboy, I know your at uni too an on a budget but thats no excuse for being a bogan.

Coopers green is better than coopers red, Cascade and james boages aint to shabby either.

And now where on page 50 I have a **** load of reading to do

Both offer pleanty free whiskey!!!!!!! And if you get enough people together for the Johnnie Walker Journey of Taste the organiser gets a free bottle. Plus there are bottles given away at both events too and a decent spread of free food (more so at the JW session).

Give Wild Turkey Rare Breed a bash......nice stuff!!!!!

VB works for me....cascade and a Boags is fine if your sitting with the wine sipping crowd but getting stuck into a VB or Carlton of a lazy afternoon with the mates is the way to go. Either that or a few pints of Guinuess or Scotch and Dry.

That's 'cause all you're probably exposed to down there is the mass manufactured ****, like Budweiser, Coors, Millers... If you could get your hands on one of the many excellent micro-brews made here, you'd probably be quite surprised! Stone (noticeably the India Pale Ale), Sierra Nevada, Boulder, and dozens of others...

Re: Hi to all the other Aussies out there

Best bourbon by far is Bookers. Highest grade bourbon Jim Beam make and it's around 65 or 70%. Haha But real nice.
VB, heavy beer? You're kidding me...........fukin school kids by cases of that **** to get pissed on with their mates, coz uit's cheap and about as heavy as a party ballon filled with helium. haha. I didn't mention Fosters coz when I think of beer, it never even occurs to me that it is one. haha.
Speaking of beer..........do you know asians (and I'm not being racist, I'm married to one, and that's how I know) put ice in their beer. No ****.
