| Re: 929 engine mods&race fairings Ivan Tighe does cams - Tighe Cams, brisbane, camshafts, automotive, Motorcycle, diesel, semi finished
Phil Tainton Racing are good - Welcome to Phil Tainton Racing!
For machine and head work in Perth I think Hamish McNichol is probably the best.
Russell Speak at Dynotime might be able to advise and supply parts as he's the top tuner here.
Despite the drop in the dollar I think the US is probably still the best bet for most stuff.
APE has a huge range if you wanted to get everything from one place - CBR ZONE - particularly useful if you're doing crank, rods and pistons as they can balance the complete assembly.
CPPistons, Arias and JE all do custom pistons in sets of four. Wiseco only do 24 batch minimums.
There are lots of rod manufacturers in steel, titanium and aluminium.
My 929 race glass is made by Race Glass - Race Glass Motorcycle Road and Race Fairings. - and I'm very impressed with it.
Mirage are the only place I know in Perth doing fairings although I believe somebody at the track was doing some kits from home.

| Re: 929 engine mods&race fairings Not really as mine was bought in '03 but I'd guess you'd be looking at a grand or thereabouts.

| Re: 929 engine mods&race fairings If you're making a new front subframe and fairing mounts anyway I can't see any problem with it at all. My upper fairing has one quarter-turn screw in the front number plate and one in each side. The belly pan is attached to the upper with two quarter-turn screws each side and one each side at the rear to stop it flapping around.
