  | Victoria, Australia - We Just Wanted To Say We're Thinking Of You.. The news here in the UK is full of the horriffic news happening in Victoria, Australia, with the bush fires at the moment.. Sideshow and I just wanted to say we are thinking of all of you in the affected areas, and we hope you are all safe and well. Our thoughts are with the families of those in danger and those who have suffered a loss.

 | Re: Just Wanted To Say We Thinking Of You.. My girlfriend's parents are on a farm in the midst of it. Their property has been burned several times the past few days but they and the buildings and livestock were okay a few hours ago. They can see the fires a few hundred meters away and won't be getting any sleep again tonight. Several friends and neighbours houses are gone and there are already more than 20 dead in their immediate area. It's horrific over there :-(

As of a few moments ago,the death toll is 168 and rising.24 separate fires still burning.The remains of a town totally destroyed has been declared a major crime scene.Any arsonist they catch will be charged with murder,which seems a little light in my book.Just hand them over to the people!! |

| Re: Just Wanted To Say We Thinking Of You.. A lot of bikes will be heading through some of these areas in a couple of weeks, for the WSBK round at Phillip Island. I'm sure it will be a very somber experience for all. Me and some mates were going to take a few extra days playing in the mountains on the way back to Sydney. Just might not seem right now. Best wishes to all affected by this tragedy. |

I am sure I speak for all the sportbike riders of British Columbia's Kootenay region when I say our thoughts go out to the people of the devastated areas. I was planning a bike trip to this region this year and was very thankfull for all the help the local riders were giving me. Unfortunately I had to cancel due to the fact that we have been hit hard by the economic downturn, just like Australia has been. Hopefully time can heal the hearts of the people that have lost loved ones. With sincere regrets Pmatch |

Latest count over here is 201 dead, the last being a firefighter last night that got killed when a tree in a previously burnt out area of Marysville fell on the back of the truck while he was putting out spot fires.Condolonces to all the people over there who have lost loved ones and have to start over.While the bottom of the country burns the top of it is underwater with crocs being washed into areas they usually wouldn't be, go figure. |
