| Velocity STacks Just curious guys...did anyone here just win an ebay auction for a set of Factory Velocity Stacks ? Was keeping an eye on it and apparently I was outbid by someone else from OZ. If it was someone here I would love to hear about any results !
Cheers

Yup, that would be me...
Dammit, had I known, I would have let you win with the $125 bid and wait for the results...
Oh well, I'll be checking next time I just payed for them, should be here next week, I'll let you guys know how they go, if it really is worth 3hp (on any dyno) with no losses anywhere, then it is a fairly cheap $/hp ratio....
Though someone did say it made the bike sound better

It will interesting to see if they do anything to the midrange or even partial throttle riding power |

| Re: Velocity STacks well, the arata has to be good for 10hp, add the stacks, (claimed 3hp) that brings me to the 149.3 rwbhp again...
What can I add to it for another 0.7hp...

| Re: Velocity STacks Actually.....I DID notice that.....I got an email right afterwards from Marc at Factory pointing out what a bunch of scrappers us Aussies must have been......and I just figured it might have been you Z....based on your Ebay ID. The reason I didn't go any higher is because he has said I can get a set for $160 plus shipping, so now there is no real rush. Are you gonna get before and after dyno runs ? Who are you going to get to do the work ?

| Re: Velocity STacks yeah, that was actually my last bid for the same reason. Marc seems pretty cool though.
As for the work, I'll be installing the stacks myself (very easy - about the same as changing an air filter) and I'll be getting th ebefore and after dyno runs at Sydney Dyno mos tlikely (trying to keep consistant)

make sure you do an advanced search that shows "anywhere"
(or restrict it to the US) if he has one up, it will pop up.
He hasn't got one for sale ATM, but he will sell ya one for $160. Just wait for my results (probably about 1 week form now)

| Re: Velocity STacks The Arata system, and a PC mapped should give you more than 10h.p dude. I've been getting 15 with the Serpent system and mapping and I'd expect the Arata to be more than that. Just out of interest, let me know how much you get stung for the dyno work. Thanks |

| Re: Velocity STacks yeah it will be intresting to see the results, would obviously expect to gain a bit up top and probalbly lose a little down low (just hope not too much) I also like how the factory pro stacks are equal length as opposed to the std ones! |

| Re: Velocity STacks I just searched for cbr954 on ebay, saw these stacks for sale and was curious if they were worth it. I came here, searched and found this discussion. Now I just have to wait and be patient for the test results. Did you receive these and get them installed yet and why does it seem to be an aussie thing to get these? |
