| Re: BMW K1200S They've been teasing us with that bike for a couple weeks now. Nice find on the full size .jpeg though Conq.
The motorcycle is maybe just a touch too angular/spaceship looking... http://www.motorcyclistonline.com/im...file1_zoom.jpg
...for me, but if it's got the power the rumors hint that it'll have, it'll make a great high speed tourer. |

| Re: BMW K1200S What a gorgeous bike...I've been looking at the ZZR and the FJR as a addition to the garage...local stealer has three FJRs reserved with no buyers yet...If the bimmer was in my price range, I'd add it to the list for sure! To save myself the flaming...not sure I want to wait until next year for an XX ("if" Honda will even re-intro it...)unless someone has an angle on new leftovers or a CLEAN '03...

That's 614lbs for the metrically challenged.

| Re: BMW K1200S Well I love my K12GT, it's more like the Titanic in the twisties than my 954 was(damn I miss her!), but infinitely more comfortable on my rather long daily commute. So I have a reason to be partial to the S bimmer, and I wont be rushing to plunk down 20 large on it, and trade the GT in. Looks like while it will change dramatically, the biggest benefit over my bike will just be hp. I could be wrong, but I am chomping at the bit to replace my 954 with the new CBR, rather than my GT for this new S.

| Re: BMW K1200S there was an article in the June issue of Motorcyclist about the bike, some nice technology in that bike. Uses a Hossack-type fork for the front suspension, the cutaway pic looks like the same shock type suspension as on other BMWs but I guess its new on this bike (even though it was made over 10 years ago just wasn't economically viable at the time to produce it)

| Re: BMW K1200S I like the lean on that 2up pic. There is no clearance between the bike's fairing and the road. |
