They are only going to produce 1000 of them the first year. If a KTM RC8 cost 3000 Euros more then a more-capable Fireblade, Then a WSB spec road legal 190-200 HP machine is gonna cost. (ie-the Ducati "D"...can't spell that word, sorry) |

| Re: 2009 BMW S1000RR Revealed It will be interesting to see how they do this weekend at Phillip Island. Corser and Xaus are both talented, so if BMW can put together a decent race bike, they might see some results their first year. Can't wait!!!  Also, they have just completed an "unoffical" practise and the BMW's were both in the top 10. Not a single RSV4 in sight. WSBK: Philip Island test session two

Much expensive modification goes into the bike before it's raced. The 1098R would be the closest street bike to race spec and it is huge bucks. |
