Just wondering how many other riders are from Calgary, AB or surrounding areas. I only know of one other guy who is on here from Cowtown!!!

I lived there for 3 years prior to moving here to the states - loved it! I was up in the North East behind Marlborough Mall. I'm taking the wife up to visit there later this summer, may hang out at Eau Claire for a bit or take her to Electric Ave.

Ah cool stuff! Ya Eau Claire is nice especially during the summer, tons of bikers there too! Electric Avenue is kinda dead now, all the clubs have been shut down. Only happening place is 17th AVE as far as nightlife and 1st ST SW.

Cool you ever come up to Calgary with your bike during the riding season? Its about what a 2 hour drive?? I can't remember how long as its been well over 5 years since I last went down there!

I'm from Grande Prairie AB, hopefully will get this CBR900 fixed this season..I'd love to bring it down to ride when I take the Ranger down to Race city...I'll have to find some parts first..Don't know if the Ninja 250 will keep up.

And, anyone deal with Universal Cycle? On their webpage it says their wrecking a 96 CBR same as mine.....

Well, if up here is any indication, you have nicer weather on the way...the 10cm of snow we got is melting..Plus 20, then down to minus five..great biking weather...At least both my bikes are broken when the snow came, rather than during the nice weather.

I ve been to Calgary (airport) and trucked out to Banff for a ski.
Must say I would love to live there, somewhere. Skiing fantastic, People fantastic. Are 2 wheels feasable 4 more than 5 months of the year?
