Thanks | I'm not sure but you do know they are pretty loud. the only one I've heard is mine and only while I'm one the bike but everyone says its really loud, especially when I really get on the gas on the highway. From the seat it is loud but I think it sounds good.

| Re: ERION EXHAUST IN CANADA CBR929RE,
Loud is fine, I like them that way. That said, can you describe the pipe: Is it louder than say ...D&D? Does it have a "deeper" exhaust note (similar to micron, 2Bros)? Is it raspy when your on the gas? Do you have to cut the cone to fit the pipe, like you do a 2Bros? Do you consider the build quality to be excellent, very good or good. Your answers to these questions would really help me with my decision. Thanks. |

Thanks. | I don't think I've heard a D&D on a 929/954, but I have heard on other bikes and they are just freakin obnoxious, the Erion is loud but sounds nice so I wouldn't call it obnoxious. it is a little deep, sounds very similar to the 2bros (since they closely related being that Greg Erion owns 2bros and Kevin Erion owns Erion). I didn't put mine on I bought it used and it was put on by the dealer when the original owner bought it. I think the build quality is really good, not an Akrapovic but the craftsmandship on them is the best there is. I have the black aluminum one and I like it a lot. I just checked the website, they have a liftetime warranty against manufacturers defects, so if like the canister cracks from heat or something they'll replace it.
I can take a pic of it if you want. sorry don't have the means to make a sound file for ya (wish I did though)

| Re: ERION EXHAUST IN CANADA Maci4Life has one. I don't find it loud at all... well, louder than stock and louder than my Hindle but not obnoxiously loud likee the D&D. It's loud enough without sounding like a complete street racer moron with a rice-a-phone on the back.
I'd still buy a hindle. |

Keep it Canadian, eh?
I liked the D&D on the 929... DAMNED loud; but I thought it had a nice deep rasp to it... but it's been a long time since I've heard one. |

try this place. i was at their booth at the bike show, and they supposedly did up an erion bike fully including the erion exhaust. give them a call and they will probably know, if they didn't get it themselves. http://rippracing.com/ |

| Re: ERION EXHAUST IN CANADA I purchased an Erion Racing bolt-on for my 2002 954 from Parts411 in Oregon, USA. It ended up being cheaper than buying a Hindle which I was also considering. It sounds good and in my opinion not too loud. The only problem that I've found is that the bike will backfire with the Erion exhaust. I called Erion Racing in California and they told me it should just bolt-on with no other adjustments needed. But after talking to several people at motorcycle shops and a friend who does his own maintenance I have come to the conclusion that I need a Power Commander 3 USB in order to run the bike with this pipe. I have put the stock exhaust back on until I get a PC3 next year. |

| Re: ERION EXHAUST IN CANADA I have the Erion slipon on my 1000RR4, and it does sound a lot like many 2Bros cans I have heard. It is loud (much louder than the sewing machine sound of the stock can), but not obnoxiously so. I think it looks great on my black bike.. gloss black matches the plastics perfectly.. http://ca.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/ada...8e.jpg&.src=ph |

I was at the dealership one day and a guy was picking up his pc3 for a 1000rr with a 2bros pipe and the guy was gonna load the map for it but the website didn't have it so he called dyno jet and they said to just use the erion one because the pipes are really close.

I don't have the bike screaming up past 9k all the time anyway
