Re: How many of the .org are from ontario? Role call

looks as if we have a pretty good contingent from north of the border we will have to set up a .org north of the border ride sometime? mind you maybe a little difficult with that # of guys coming from a distance but... maybe it will work out?

any ideas?

Re: How many of the .org are from ontario? Role call

Present.

I'm a northern rider although and at the moment I am living in the center of the universe. Who'd have thought the whole world revolves around the CN Tower pivot point?

At any rate, I'm up for a ride anytime I'm actually in the province. These days, work kicks my ass and I end up living on the road for 3/4 of the year.

And maci... I went riding today. Are you coming to the MotoGP thing tomorrow?

This year... I had 2 weeks "off" (means working from Toronto) and then this last 1.5 weeks. The only reason I have this 2-3 week period now is because I have to do some prep-work for a training session. Even then, they gave me 15 days worth of prep-work to do in 10 days and then scheduled me for 6 billable client days in that time too. Hell, on Wednesday I was on-site for 17 hours with a client.

/rant off

The good news is that my boss loves me and if I tell them to shove it for a day or so, they don't ask questions.

Re: How many of the .org are from ontario? Role call

Yorkdale mall is about 45 minutes to an hour from here(barrie) how about you guys? we could meet at the bass pro shop or something like that too? or were ever you want, I will be coming from Barrie, as long as I am not forgetting anything that is going on this weekend(you ever get that feeling?)

I am pretty sure that this weekend is free. what ever works for you guys. As long as it is not really late, I hate riding in the cold and dark nights that are spring in ontario

I would suggest the AMC at 400/Hwy 7 as Yorkdale is a real zoo on the weekends.

I have engagement shots to do this weekend (with the bike of course) but I'm not sure which day yet, weather permitting.

I will let you know.

I guess up north would be out of the question as that would be a whole affair. What about Snake Rd and surrounding area?

I think that the forks would be a good ride, I can't remeber if I have done that one or not? Were/What is AMC? nothing is set in stone and what ever works to get the most people out. I am pretty flexible as to where/when we meet. Not much happening this weekend for me so far other than this

I don't know of too many gas staions with parking lots that big

I am sure that we can come up with something? I looked up yorkdale on google and their(yorkdales) site is down, once I find directions, I will mail them to you.

You should bring L'timbre along for the ride too

You can park ar Yorkdale All day for free cause it is a commuters parking lot but not leave it over night. if you park to the north west side by the 401 then you should have have to much of a problem.

The exit from the east is the Allen - Yorkdale Road, from the West you take Duffrin. YorkDale is on the south side of the 401.

I wish I could show up but I will not be back till the 11th - have fun
