Anyone interesed in HID for the 929/954?

I want to grab a pair from a person in Thornhill ontario ( GTA) but he's selling the pair for 289US. ( H7's). I'm thinking he has a store so i'll try and find it, and see if he can give a better deal.

anyone want to go halves and split the pair up so we each have low beams??

here's the link from ebay.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT

pm me if you're interested.

I'd be interested, but not in the 8000k ones, the 4700k (I think) are the best, as they give the most light output - they give you a pure white colour, not a blue or purple (for which you actually lose visibility)

www.xenondepot.com is the site I believe that's where Sirkbac got his kit.

hey Z how about a 6500 K kit?? that should be a good compromise

The price on the xenondepot is still more expensive than this place, and the kit that i saw is for the H7 anyways so we should be ok. if we arrange it then i'm sure we can work out a delivery method.

I'm gonna try and locate these people in toronto.

yeah blue wouldn't be as visible as the white thats for sure, but i figured it would look really nice plus the higher intensity should balance out what we lose in the viewable spectrum of light.

I think 6500 would be ok - the the cool blue colour you are thinking of relly comes about from the "projector" type lenses, and the way the light refracts off the corners when the lights are off angle (would not get that affect on the type of kit looked at here - not that I really care) the extra light would be awesome...

Yep, but as soon as you go over 6000K the color starts to turn blue and output goes down so keep it under 6000K. The projectors have 4300K in them.

so are you saying that the best compromise of the blue plus decent light visibility would be in the 6000 - 6500 range??

Would you guys know where to get the projector headlamp for a 954? I saw someone with it an it looked hot. He had the projector magnifier on the high beam bulbs. Don't know if it custom.
