| What should Phobiaphobe do in Toronto? Naively, when an old college friend asked me about 18 months ago to be in his wedding party, I agreed.
I'm flying to Pearson tomorrow morning, arrive 12:45 pm, then I have to wait until about 6pm for my ride to Perth where the wedding is being held. So I've got at least 5 hours to kill in Toronto tomorrow. I figured I'd go downtown rather than bumming around the airport, so I need some idea of where to go, what to do. Haven't been there for a few years.
Ideas? |

| Re: What should Phobiaphobe do in Toronto? If you're into art, there's a great museum with one of the largest collection of Henry Moore sculptures.
Great shopping for clothes downtown, European style with US prices?
Lots of ethnic neighbourhoods for lunch. |

I am living in barrie still but working in toronto due to the labour dispute that is ongoing. Actually I won't be there as we are on shortened hours for the holiday weekend. plus I am going to Ottawa this weekend(hopefully, if all goes as planned) |

| Re: What should Phobiaphobe do in Toronto? I am not really sure...I doubt that there is a shuttle from the air port to mc brides...but...surely there is one that goes downtown Here is the link to mcbrides, not a bad shop, they have a pretty decent selection of gear and stuff to... |

| Re: What should Phobiaphobe do in Toronto? the HO's are on jarvis ( not from experience ), ok it is but just from heckling them after some heavy drinking club nights
i'd say CN tower's a good visit. have lunch at the top, get a good view of toronto. if you had more than 5 hours, then i'd say canada's wonderland. You could also enjoy the beaches ( Q beach on lakeshore). Eaton town centre for some shopping. Avoid mcbrides, they suck and are over priced!! |
