| Niagara Falls? Anyone done a package deal there? I am looking at heading over there this weekend for a couple of nights with the girlfriend. I have been searching around and have found a couple of really cool things but I just thought that I would throw this out there and see what comes back
I have been looking around at stuff like this: http://http://nfhd.niagarafallshotel...es/#packagetop
(it is near the bottom sightseeing package for two I think)
But would like to get the prices down a bit more...any ideas?
I have tried expedia.ca and travelocity.ca and they come back with about the same stuff so anything new would be appreciated |

| Re: Niagara Falls? We stayed at a B&B near Port Dalhousie and did a bit of a vineyard tour. The B&B's are much nicer for a getaway with the SO than a hotel IMO. |

| Re: Niagara Falls? I have been looking into those more and more and I think that being "annomous" in a larger hotel may not be such a bad thing either
I am still considering the B&B's though, there are just sooo many to choose from |

The American Side is pretty much a dying city except for the Casino trying to bring business back in. You can find plenty to do on Clifton Hill. Couldn't tell you where to stay though since I grwew up in Buffalo and we just had to drive 20 minutes to get there when ever we went. have fun.

| Re: Niagara Falls? Canada side for shizzle, no questions. As for the hotel, drop the $$ at the Fallsview Marriott. Confirm, re-confirm, and double confirm on the way there. Make sure you get a view OF the falls, specially if you're not considering leaving the room much. But if you do, be sure to take a ride on the whirlpool jetboats (I rode the covered one since I didn't feel like swimming in October) www.whirlpooljet.com is their url. Pricey but a real fun trip, you'll have a new respect for pressure rapids and what Class 5 means even though it's not your elbows doing the work

| Re: Niagara Falls? If you want to do something besides wax museums Niagra-on-the-lake is a nice heritage spot. Lots of interesting stores, buildings and restaurants. Less than half an hour away. You can search it up to get a better idea. |

| Re: Niagara Falls? I just got back from Niagara On the Lake. Beautiful town... Too many idiot drivers there. (Half with American plates too... ). Over 8 hours on my new DRZ400SM with a buddy and his dad.
Get there, pull down a side street to park, and walk the rest of it. Don't forget to visit at least one winery on the way there and on the way home. |

I will NEVER stay in a hotel again if i have a choice. B&B are SSSSOOOO much nicer and cost roughly the same, usually alittle more, but well worth it. look at bedandbreakfast.com |

| Re: Niagara Falls? You've seen pics of 12 people on a scooter from India... 3 is easy!!!!
My buddy has a GS500 and his dad has an old '78 CB750. Sadly; I had the slowest bike of the bunch. |

| Re: Niagara Falls? I visited when I was 7 or 8 and remember wondering why the room we were in had a RED heart shaped tub. I think it was at the Holiday Inn. It was along time ago. |
