For the Quebecers

I was wondering if any one has stayed at Club Intrawest Tremblant? Is it right at the mountian or would I need to drive a bunch? I am trying(again) to get over there for this winter with a couple of friends for a ski weekend, any other ideas for accomodations?
The reason I was thinking Club Intrawest was that I can get a great deal through my time share.

I am open to Ideas, let me know

Re: For the Quebecers

The Club Intrawest is more a Golf resort, but it's right at the bottom of the mountain. I don't think you'd need to take the car to go ski. The resort will take you there as it is only 2 minutes away. Check that map out

http://www.tremblant.ca/accommodatio...sort_map-e.htm

Zoom in on the Domaine du Geant section, # 6 is the Intrawest.

Village du Pietonnier is the place to be though, everything is right there.

Re: For the Quebecers

If you are really open to ideas, then you could make it 2.5 hrs east and be in Quebec city, would be cheaper than Tremblant and you'd have the choice of 4 pretty nice mountain and 3 average one..... If it's something you think might happen, let me know and I'll give you more details as where to stay and ski.

Re: For the Quebecers

I am still kind of in the planning stages, I would be interested in that though, I am just not very familliar with the area.

Re: For the Quebecers

OK, I'll try to make a good wrap up of the option here.....

Mont-Sainte-Anne http://www.mont-sainte-anne.com/Mont.../Home/Home.asp

Good place for Ski and snow-board. Nice place to stay right at the bottom as well. About 30 minutes from Quebec City My place

Le Massif.... AWESOME place for ski and snow-board. LOTS of snow there, not that many place to stay and not that much stuff to do, about 45 to 60 minutes from Quebec City. The view at the top is beautiful and the trails are good. http://www.lemassif.com/en/ Attachment 15532

Le Massif du Sud: http://www.quebecweb.com/massifdusud...langue=ENGLISH This one is South shore of Quebec City, about 75 minutes from the old Quebec part of town. This is the place to be for challenging trails and snow condition. Not that much to do, but if you are looking for snow, good price and awesome trails in the wood, that's the place to be. It's a remote station compare to the other ones, so it's closed on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. If you can make it there on a Thursday..... well powder snow heaven....

Stoneham: http://www.ski-stoneham.com/Stoneham.../Home/Home.asp Great snowboard accommodation, the snow park is quite big and the Half Pipe is used for a world cup event that takes place there every year, so good stuff A little on the small side though. 20 minutes from Quebec.

Le Relais: http://www.skirelais.com/EN/index.php Even smaller than Stonehan, but again grrrrreat snow park.... and cheap. The closest one from Quebec city, around 15 minutes.

Here's a google heart shot with them all. Attachment 15533

Night life in Quebec city is worth it

Allright hope it helps! let me know if you need more info

Here's the Google Earth Placemark Attachment 15534
