Finally Got out for a Ride

It was finally nice enough today to get the blade back out.

The snow all melted from the back yard so I was able to get it out from the basement. Changed the oil last night and checked the tires this morning. It was 50 out but very gusty. It made for some interesting cornering as the wind would gust or drop off mid-corner. Was out for about an hour. Noticed a lot of sand along the edges of the roads along with many new potholes. The new brake lines felt awesome. The new gloves are still very stiff. Might take a while to break them in.

All in all a good day.

I got out today as well with the wife on the back. So, a little slower than normal. But, no sand to worry about here in Austin!! Reached about 73 today.

It got up to 65 here today but go figure, my forks are still on their way back from DK. Not only that but my wifes f4i has been at my friends garage all winter long and I would have had a chance to finally go get it today but it started to rain. My wife was pissed we couldn't get it! Oh well, normally we have snow til April so I'm not expecting much yet!

I'm sure we'll get more snow here. But, we should have a few nice riding days in between.

It was raining all day up here but right around 2:30 or so the sun came out and I slapped the plate on the bike for my first ride of the season.

Felt good.

The roads were way too wet for me and that wind chill killed me. I almost did take her out for a ride, but I rode the beginning of the week, so, I will just wait for the next sunny day above 50. It was warm, unless you were in shade, then it was just...brrrrrrr

Last I checked Weather.com said sunny all day with a high of 48

I could be wrong, but, if thats the case, that would be pretty nice. I'd take the bike out in that, as I am sure some of my friends will too. If snow does pay us a visit i'll just hope it's not enough to make them drop more salt, that would suck...

Made the mistake of going out late todaywith friends (around 4:30) and headed towards portsmouth/hampton area, wasn't bad going over , was a full moon over the water, and actually quite a few people out. Coming home i froze me a_s off and the wind really sucked as well

I can only imagin, once that sun goes down the temp plummits! The view must've been great and the beach must've been nice!

Maybe we can meet up and all ride up as a group sometime

So, went out for ride, but didn't ride up here for the shing-ding. We had a great time without ya' anyway.

Guess I might not get to see ya' again before you had out of the state. I guess we can't keep all the good guys......

Looks like a beautiful day!

Too bad I have to finish moving...although that does require me riding the bike back to the shop in order to get my truck.

I'm only about 40 minutes from Nashua so maybe if you guys are gonna do a long ride on a weekend I can meet up with you. Hopefully the snow doesn't last long tomorrow!!! I hate New England!!!!!

Today was actually a lot colder than it felt. Riding was chilly but enjoyable none the less.

I was only out for a few hours and was very suprised at how much the roads cleared up around here. Looking at the forecast, there doesn't seem to be another good day ahead of us for a while, but this IS New England so that can all change in a matter of hours
